Find ip address on linux

Wow. i cant believe im writing this. Very Very retarded posting but someone has to write it out.

Ok so you need the ip address in linux. First of all what you need to do is log in as root or super user. type su in the ssh to be asked for the super user password

once you’ve completed this type “ifconfig” this will display out your ip address settings, super simple.
