So I knew it was possible for a while, but ive never actually done it. I gotta say it was worth the couple hours of frustration to get it working. I had trouble tho getting a couple games to work. Most notably i wanted to play Lufia 2, alas i couldnt
. Oh well. I ended up putting final fantasy 3 and 4 and zelda on it for now. You might be wondering why? well its something to do while goin to the bathroom…… Also the phone i did this on is a Motorola Q. Anyways this is how i did it.
Step 1: Install tgetfile.dll. Do to that go here. This allows you to execute stuff outside your my documents folder on your phone(or something like that). I downloaded the tgfdllsp50e.zip. If you scroll down a little its down there under a smartphone row. Basically to install this, sync your phone with ur pc and run the setup.exe from your pc. During the installation look at your phone, it might ask if ur sure you want to install the file. Respond with yes or ok.
Step 2: I went to this thread and downloaded PocketSNES153.rar. You can try the other one, but i couldn’t get it working. Your gonna have to make an account to download, but no worries it doesnt cost money. If the thread ever goes down ill post the emulator here. (i just dont want to piss the creator off by doing that).
Update: To get the regular nintendo emulator, use this one thread.
Step 3: This is I what did, but u can do what you want. I used the explorer from pc to browse through my phone and went to “Program Files” then created a folder called “SNES”. Then i copied the PocketSNES.exe in there.
Step 4: Download some roms. I would use the romnation if at all possible. The other when you download a rom gives u a ton of versions, so if you do just pick one of the roms from each download. It’ll make more sense if you try it. Also i only couldn’t get one game to work, so dont get discourage if a rom fails just try another one.

Step 5: Play the game. On you phone go to “File Manager” then search through to “Program Files/SNES” then click the “PocketSNES.exe” then click “File/Open rom”.
NOTE 1: Heres the catch. I noticed that if I only have one rom in that folder I couldn’t scroll down to select it. So download at least 2 games. The other thing I noticed is that when you go to load a game if there arent more then one save state again u can’t scroll down to select. That last bit is actually what tripped me up the most.
NOTE 2: Your gonna need to go in and map ur keys before you play.
NOTE 3: I had to turn off Transparency effect. Not sure why but somethings where showing up black on the sreen, and when I turned this off, it fixed it.
NOTE 4:* I had to turn on Auto Frame Skip. Otherwise the game runs so rediculously fast you cant play.
Enjoy
